dt pottery studio was founded in London in 2024 by Dou and Tian.

We believe that art grows from exploring nature and the inner self, and from the quiet dialogue we have with the world around us. Working with clay has become our way of connecting — with the earth, with touch, and with meaning.

Dou

an architect, is drawn to the beauty of structure and spatial order. He brings an architectural sensibility to pottery, shaping pieces that balance logic and emotion, and occasionally breaking convention with his hands.

Tian

a meticulous perfectionist, is attuned to the smallest details. She carves delicate patterns inspired by nature — whispers of wind, the flow of water, the veins of leaves — giving each piece its own quiet story.
